From my understanding of CSS and partial dispositions, one (taxing insurance proceeds) has nothing to do with the other (tracking depreciation or doubling on depreciating assets). 

So, my extended thinking in service of that goal is to double down on BTC for 24 months and see how we’re doing.

You will need to double check with a lender but my understanding is yes, they will look at current or appraised rents, whichever is lower, and factor in 75% of the rents.
