This is the majority of the bookkeeping  -banks love it and you can do a P&L per class/property  Administration/overhead expenses can be prorated based on total income or time.

It has many benefits, but it also helps a lot because you only have to work with a single EIN and can use a single bank account with the correct bookkeeping to operate all your investments, to prevent commingling of your finances.

Each “child” series is treated as its own entity legally, but they all operate under one EIN and you can operate them under the same bank account when you do the bookkeeping correctly.

But you don't need that - you only need to have a good bookkeeping system setup such way that it will allow you clear separation of incomes and expenses for each child Series-LLC (at least that's what I was instructed by my lawyer).Can you register or convert an LLC as a Series-LLC?
