I regularly attend workshops and seminars to stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

There is one I attend on occasion in the Valley.One option is house hacking here in LA.

At least attend some city council meetings where it is on the agent, or talk to your councilperson for advice. 

As others have mentioned, I recommend starting to attend some local meetups here and there just to start brushing shoulders with other brokers, investors, wholesalers, etc. to really get your feet wet without putting money on the line. 

Or are there training I could attend.  

A great way to start is by attending RE events and joining a local investors association.

I attend about 10 conferences a year and they have the money to advertise and pay for the booths.

Hi, I am looking to attend any meetups in Central and North New Jersey.

I will be attending training there that lasts roughly 12 months.

@Ben Stanley I stayed up late after dinner & spent weekends on my computer, scouting neighborhoods and attend RE investing events.
