Found a good value add property for our portfolio and a good kick starter property.

My grandmother would want the asset to stay in the family and so do my parents so, they are trying to kick start my real estate investor career.

Do you have any points of contact to kick start your local teams? 

I would receive a draw upon completion, so cash needed to kickstart the project is where I’m most concerned!

Sounds like Park Slope 12-15 years ago. or even PLG 4-6 years ago...In my experience, it just takes one really cool avant-garde/artsy Cafe/Lounge/Restaurant/Brunch spot to kickstart the fire...  

The fund raiser is like someone initiating a Kickstarter project to raise funds to develop a product.

Nobody can compete with the feds.My state's governor just announced a $40 million dollar fund to provide unemployment to undocumented workers...You want to kick start the economy, turn off the spigot.
