Brewers Hill and River West finally pulling themselves out of the crisis and seeing values on the rise again.

Assuming a stock market downturn in the next 6-18 months with attendant economic effects (rising unemployment, declining interest rates, dip in home values), is anyone waiting on the sidelines and holding cash to either pounce on RE and/stocks when they drop 5-20%?

With crypto on the rise, I feel like it has people investing in that instead of more rentals and maybe even selling rentals to buy crypto.

@Mike Adams I have no idea your exact budget or criteria but just going off your first post it seems that you are looking at million dollar plus investments, if that is the case look into jersey city heights, it is a neighborhood in jersey city that is on the rise.  

Speaking of punchlist items, the last 10% of your project is where the cream rises to the top and it can be frustrating as heck.

Sometimes prices continue to rise and you stare thinking 'no way!

In my experience and research the companies that don't account for EVERYTHING are the ones that are trying to portray inflated number.

I don't expect the values to rise much longer and lately I've been seeing several properties in that area being reduced.  

Good pay in the real estate field is obtained when one rises to investment decision making positions (for which one needs significant education, experience and talent), or on a commission basis by being a top "producer".
