If you fear that he will do something based upon your interactions with him you may what to throw in the towel and take the loss on your taxes.

My preference is to minimize any interaction between owner & realtor, if possible.

One thing that helped me recently when working a short was reading some suggestions by an experienced SS negotiator about how to improve the interaction with the lender.

This is part of my screening process that allows me to feel out a person and gain additional insight into their character based on how they interact with me.

UNLESS....it's a recurring payment system so that it debits the renter on the 1st of the month without their interaction.

Slightly more detailed answer:I don't really care how you interact with your buyers, who are presumably mostly investors/landlords and probably know more about real estate than you do.I care about how you interact with sellers, and the larger community.Don't lie to people.
