There is a trick to this , use ups or federal express , put the letter in a box that looks appealing , and have the return address  anywhere but yours , a friend , etc.

just email her that since she has expressed that she can't fulfill the terms of the contract, that you consider it null and void and that you are relieving her of any obligations under your contract.
