Most I have seen a way higher than that so check if that is indeed what they are offering.

I want them to send the check to my attorney for the closing on a specific property.I know that some of you are so eager to launch this new phase of growing your business that you really want to take that first check but don't do it.Here is why.

As an investor, the numbers seem to be the easiest way for me to check if things are going well although I understand the bigger picture is more complex than that. 

@David WaltonAttorney's are great - ask a real estate attorney about this though to double check.

Vegas is nearby to you and could likely check up on it a couple of times a year if needed. 

Also find out if they have a move out list for you to check and what the expectations are (ie I expect any carpet to be professionally cleaned and want a receipt, over is cleaned, if you had a pet any poop in the yard to be picked up, etc).  

Call and check references.
