Description of error:If Form 1040, 'PrimaryClaimAsDependentInd' is not checked, then the Primary SSN must not be the same as a Dependent SSN on another return.What needs to be done:This return was rejected by the IRS, because an exemption has been claimed for the taxpayer, but the taxpayer's SSN has already been entered as a dependent on another return.

The landlord/owner will then give the tenant 24-48 hours notice (depending on the state laws) that he will enter the property for an inspection.

I wouldn't sign any lease that puts the first $X of any repair on my, or requires me to pay for any repair under $X.Both of these clauses signals to me that the landlord doesn't care about the property and has no interest in keeping it up.This is a personal opinion, plenty of investors here have these clauses, I just don't like them and would never agree to them.I'd also ask how much notice they give before entering the property, do they rent to felons, what sort of background check do they perform?

When I completed schedule E and wanted  to enter the profit I received from the rental houses on form 1040, the 2018 instructions say put it on line 17, which is totally wrong on the new 2018 1040.
