Inevitably, someone always complains about being cold.I have 2 options to update my heating system.1)  Install 1 modcon boiler + indirect tank.  

I do know about the digital thermostats that allow you to set minimums where they cannot go any cooler but then how do I make sure they are actually getting the oil in the tank so that heat is running?

I lived in it for a few years, then moved, but since the market tanked, I had to become a landlord.

Side note: My saying about these types of sites: "There's always some story about a vacant site in a built out neighborhood, difficult seller, family group of (not) sellers/owners, environmental issues (toxics, tanks), etc."

If you play your cards right and build a great portfolio you can be less and less "hands on", So if you just want to write a check and turn your investment over to someone else this is not the route to goThe thing I like is that I have some control and the assets are actually tangible.....its an actual piece of material I am buying....not some theory or idea or general sector based on future earnings that I am betting on...al controlled by someone else and loss/gain based on parameters that I have zero control over and really don't understand....why the hell did my mutual fund go in the tank?...

Lots of sharks in the waters of private financing. 

I have had too many "buyers" that have burned days of my time and tanks of my gas, only to be told at the last moment that some friend or distant relative popped up out of nowhere with a real estate license or FSBO.
