In the case of a fire, the fire department would have a need to know.In the case of a police raid, the police department would have a need to know.In the case of neighbors, I don't see they would have a need to know unless there was imminent danger to them.In our jurisdiction, it is against the law to discharge a firearm within city limits, except under specific circumstances.

But still, I don't know of any local SAFE act police department, so who's doing the counting?

I sat next door to a landlord in court who was being forced to evict his tenant by the police - he was facing heavy fines if he did not evict his "drug dealing " tenants.

If a house on the market currently has squatters in it, can that be dealt with simply by getting police involved to get them out after the property is purchased?

I do have the police reports, although I don't know if that would help, and not sure I want to, or even should, share that info.

By complaints I ment neighbors or police calling to complain about them not that there was a leak under the sink.So far we have done this with wonderful success.We us US bank and they have a credit union and it was no problem to set up.For those freaking out about the reduction of cash flow please no hate mail.

I echo the comments on police stats nearby and have heard smarter people than I suggest driving by at all hours of the day and night to get a good idea of the block by block culture.

Hi everyone, I received a note in the mail from an unknown neighbor at one of my rental properties (SFH) that read : "your rental property has very heavy drug activity going on at all hours of the night and day and loud music. the police will be notified along with child protection agency in regards to their 3 children. please address the problem asap"I went by the place 3 times at night since I got the letter and didn't hear any music and I didn't see one person stop in. 

Frankly, if it were me, I'd call the police and get you arrested for vandalism and theft.
