Leases usually specify something about that tenant shall keep unit in a clean, habitable condition, so no matter how long they live there, it should be a normal cleaning job when they leave.

I said if their maintenance person could not PERMANENTLY fix the problem, the next time they either needed to hire a real company or I would be putting my rent in escrow until they provided me a habitable place to live.
