It varies between going to the county court house, newspaper ads, RE clubs etc. 

This stay is like a court injunction. 

This will lock up your proceeds in your exchange acct for a period of time but will also have the benefit of keeping your options open.  

This is a property in the US and I am investing from Canada.Thanks to anyone who can give me some tips on how to proceed.

I plan to write the contract as: $10,000.00 to be deducted from sellers proceeds for Septic tank repairs. 

There is very likely going to be a court case or two over this situation.
