I have not actually done this but I have suggested it before to others.Have a friend or family member willing to deposit into an account that is in both your names, but upon opening the bank account, only your friend/family meber has the authority to withdraw funds.

I deal mainly with tax sale deeds and because the taxing authority only sends their bills out once a year, it is reasonable to realize that it could take a year before someone realizes that they are missing their bill and check into it only to find they do not any longer own the property.

Hi Dottie,You'd probably have to check with the local authority in charge of manufactured homes - see what they've got in their records and how they see this property - i.e. real property or personal property.
