I'm guessing after logging died down they had a steep decline but seems to be on the upswing now... low cost of living and good recession-proof jobs due to the Air Force, Sky Lakes Medical Center and Oregon Tech...

Frankly you’d have to be gullible to believe that and if they know you’re gullible then they’re probably lying about other things also, and they’ll take advantage of you, considering they seem to be the type of people who cash other people’s checks.

It would seem to be a better fit to what you are looking for.  

I know that there is a lot of unpack here, but it seems a shame to have to pay property taxes on the higher value when Dad will still be the main resident for the balance of his life.  

Data the applicant enters seems to frequently not be verified and it allows for complete omissions in fields and hides important information such as social security numbers from landlords. 

But the book seems having a lot of tricks.

This just seems a ridiculous amount of money & a crazy complex amount of paperwork that I have regrettably signed up for ....Any advice or experience in this area would be extremely helpful !

I have done my research online and it doesn't seem like the strongest market (population is stagnant, crime rate is not the best, job industry isn't very strong) but I know personal accounts are important as well.
