In Delaware, we screen thoroughly (credit, criminal, eviction etc) and also check court connect Delaware - sometimes eviction history shows there even when it doesn't on the credit report.

This is exactly how LLC's registered in another state forward mail to the LLC owner living locally, very common in real estate due to better tax/liability policies in Wyoming, Delaware for example.
