It appears that there are some radical ideas being tossed around by some members of congress such as complete rent forbearance and forgiveness along with radical ideas attached to acceptance of federal rent assistance- such as  being forced to accepting tenants I would normally pass on ie. poor credit, felons, regardless of offense etc. 

The local housing authorities will pay market-rent, but not above. 

There's been a lot of changes in the industry and many of us "movers and shakers" are working to legitimize tiny homes (and other alternative style housing) by engaging the authorities having jurisdiction as well as standards creating organizations.

Interesting....check with you state real estate licensing authority. 

You just want to make sure you getting the new loan through bank/lender that is fully delegated and underwrites their own files authority and "No overlays".

As @Tracy Streich said, notify the Housing Authority ASAP so payments don’t go to the old owner.

Yes, provided I receive a signed release authorizing me. 

If there is an emergency that endangers people or your property, you have the authority to enter without giving notice first.
