We requested the lease agreements and there was some information missing/ wrong. 1 agreement looks good and is up in October of this year. 1 agreement is from 2018-2019 and there is no paper work that says they have extended their lease.

Still need to solve the problem of employment history...but there's a chance they could extend the loan or refinance it to give you more time for work history (ask them if they could extend or refinance if you still couldn't get approved) to swap to a big bank w/ a 30yr conventional.

You own the property, you inherited a month to month lease and you are allowed to not extend and you are allowed to end a lease based on the state of the apartment.
