Every time I come back from a vacation, as soon as I step out of the airport, I must say that SF Bay Area is better than any vacation destination I have been to.I do not agree with people leaving Bay Area.

The only neighborhood where I see a large number of adjacent rentals on the market is Youngstown, West Seattle, and that's likely because the above ground lightrail opening in 2031 is set to cut straight through that neighborhood and decimate their property values.

Personally I am doing two things: 1) working on a portfolio loan to raise my LTV to ~70% (I’ve been conservative at < 50% LTV for the past few years). 2) being opportunistic if I can source off market deals adjacent to properties I already own or find motivated sellers in areas that I know.

Summer though that I agree with compared to Texas its a delight.I like Charleston SC as a choice.. lots happening real estate wise.. great town great history resturants are really good.. and your right on the ocean so boating fishing etc is nice.. and airport you can get to the major hubs very easy.. economy booming with Boeing Volvo BMW and right to work state.
