Real Estate is physical and the stock market is virtual so I have dramatically shifted my "retirement allocation" over to both Crowdstreet and RealCrowd and away from the currently over inflated/hyped stock market.

Her goal is have a unit for herself (for retirement) and then rent the rest out.

Following that logic all IRA and solo 401k holders living out of state would have to register with WI Financial Inst. dept. if their retirement plan owned real estate in WI.

But also my real estate isn't my only income, it is just extra income mainly growing for retirement, I reinvest almost all the profits.  

Hi All,My CPA is close to retirement so this year will probably be my last with him.

Taking out a 15 yr. mortgage on both aiming be paid off when we're about to retire (at 65ish)C) leave the Brooklyn property be and get another mortgage on a house that we move into.  

I picked 25 years, because that would be the ideal time for me to retire, but i plugged in for 30 years. 

We also have a few private lenders investing with us, either from their personal funds or retirement accounts. 

Again, people thought I was crazy for leaving my job for the unknown.Looking back, I often tell my friends that if I had landed a great job out of school and been offered a good/stable salary with health care and retirement options I probably wouldn't have felt comfortable making the plunge into real estate.
