I learned that from Homer Simpson.The problem with building inspectors is that 100% of them are hacks that can't make it in the private sector so they get a cushy government job and then hassle you. rob,i tried that once and it did not work. i had changed the water heater before they came out. i even threw the old one away and got rid of the cardboard box. he saw the new water heater and said "you need a permit for that". i told him that the bank must have changed it recently, and he said "i dont care. you need a permit. if you are not the homeowner, you need a plumber to pull a permit". that's when i switched that house from non homestead to homestead to pull my own permit. but that raised my personal home taxes by $800, so it was not worth it at all.

I called him and he was "busy" Still hasn't called me back and his "voicemail box is full".I explained earlier to the first guy that if they were in anticipatory breach that I could start the eviction process right away and force them out and still have my contractually obligated damages for the 6 months as agreed.So, here's my question: I've read that I should be a hard *** with tenants but am I being unreasonable?
