So instead of 'development and multi-family', start with 'networking, service, reading spreadsheets/analyzing, connecting with people, managing projects, etc....' basically write out whatever you really enjoy doing OR whatever skill you want to acquire... and find a job in RE that matches. because RE is so diverse and people oriented, you're bound to find something that suits you. 

My 1st property was a house hack of a three family property where I have been enjoying living free for just about 9 months now.

I enjoy providing value to others, and that is exactly what we are doing on these deals.

I really enjoy learning, and sometimes I feel the best way to learn is to dive into it.

I enjoy spending time with my family, and taking day trips to local favorites like the boardwalk and beach.I'm in the beginning stages of starting my investing career.

  - Generate $5k in monthly income within the 5 years.My ultimate goal is to create a portfolio of cash flow positive real estate investments to:- Help my father retire so that he can travel with my mother, enjoy life, and discover new hobbies and passions.- Allow me to make jewelry because it's my passion, not my passion that pays the bills- Free up my time to pursue travel and my interest in martial arts. 

I am currently working an 8-5 job and want to get into something I would enjoy more.

I’ve been interested in RE investing for several years, as I’ve found that I’m good at digging up opportunities and closing, and I enjoy crunching numbers and analyzing problems.I’m interested in meeting people who have set up private money / private equity deals in the past, especially if it involved single-family residential buy-and-hold strategy.I’m also looking at pulling the trigger on the local Lifestyles Unlimited seminar, because I have a lot to learn, and also because I want access to what Lifestyles considers “best practices” in what will be my market.I’m happy to hear all sides of any idea and my hobbies include playing devil’s advocate and drumming at my local church.
