I mean we all pay taxes in some form; I would rather them be used to ensure people have a home than on corporate tax breaks, billion dollar planes that don't work, a stupid racist border wall, and as a gift to Israel so it can be used to kill Palestinian children.

I live in the slightly more gentrified section of HP (one block north of the park/border Logan Sq.) - and SFH are more like 500k already. 

My father and I bought a home in 1996 joint tenancy right of survival mortgage. We both lived in the home as well as my wife. My wife moved out less than a year later and we divorced in 1997. My father died in 1998. ...

She also mentioned that there had been a number of offers that exceeded asking price.She has mentioned this a few times to me now in an effort to show she did her part to make sure the property appraised, however, I feel it borders on unethical.
