Since that involves some disapproval from society, they have discovered that it works really well to present lies and empty promises.

If the historic society gets involved, they can dictate what kind of repairs, colors, surfaces, etc.

I would be nice to have someone by your side to prevent you from making those mistakes, but that is almost impossible in todays 24/7 society, so reading and most importantly COMPREHENDING what is read.
