During that time, I also had 2 mortgages that were successfully modified--but as a result my credit scores have suffered and dipped to the low 600's.

On the other hand, the Mercedes Benz plant is actually in a much more rural town outside of Birmingham proper- which means that, while people could live closer to work, they often prefer to live closer to the city - somewhere in between downtown and the plant.

We currently live in Plant City close to I4.

Check out some of Immanuel and my other posts for details backing this up but suffice to say Notre Dame is working with SB to bring in high tech industries, there is a new power plant going in south of town, it still has great manufacturing including trailer construction, it is on the intersection of 2 busy highways 80 & 31, and it is less than 2 hours from downtown Chicago which is one of the largest inland ports in the world.

We haven't heard back from them after we planted the seed to negotiate a lease break 5 days ago.

After that its a numbers game, like raising cattle or planting an orange grove.

Just planting a see that it might be something to look at.  

The Finance Minister announced steps to curb the influx of foreign capital into the Canadian Real Estate Market  (in which he really meant TO and Vancouver ... down east we are not really suffering from the influx of foreign money ... sure we lost a 50-unit deal a couple of years ago to a Chinese investor, but the property was not worth what s/he paid, so we'll see it back on the market eventually).That said, Ottawa is only removing a loophole which has allowed foreigners to purchase a residence in Canada, claim it as their principal residence and then benefit from the personal residence {captial gains} tax exemption when they sell.  

This elderly gentleman said that the property has served him well for many years and it was time to hand it over to some else.The property is in pretty bad shape so my team and myself have decided to fix it up and give it to someone else in need for ZERO dollars also.I was hoping that you could point me in the right direction of how I can do something like this and to who I should give this house.I really want to give it to someone that has been suffering for a long time and is need of a home.Thanks so much and I’m really looking forward to your suggestions so please comment below and let me know your thoughts.
