People work, they are in the middle or organizing after a move, they have utilities to set up - it's a relatively hectic time period for a lot of people.

Federal land in the middle of nowhere does not solve the crisis, crisis can be solved by smarter planning, better use of land and getting politicians to cut through the red tape where costs to develop are astronomical. 

Then there are a few more hurdles (and more time & carrying costs) to overcome to obtain final site plan approval.Having finally made it to final site plan approval, there are still the issues you're already familiar with - e.g. which side of bed did the inspector get up on that morning?

With all the uncertainty going on with the world, with the wars in the middle east, longshoremen strikes, election in November, and potential for stock market and housing market crashes, should I hold off on purchasing real estate until the world is more "stable"?
