Hi all, I'm new to this forum and in need of some advice.My situation is as follow: I am not a US citizen (French) and will be moving permanently outside the US (Canada) at the end of July.

Citizen Bank which is my original lender says they do not offer and rocket mortgage says that fannie mae and other lenders aren't issuing any more cash out refi at the time for investment properties.

You get a tax deduction (as a Permanent Resident / Canadian Citizen) and tax deferred growth while the money is in there.

@Benjamin Cedillos & @Jerry Pierce I recently called a bunch of organizations about a HELOC on my primary and the best two IMO were Citizens and Huntington.

I have seen the driving for dollars , mail flyer campaign, behind on taxes search, abandoned property or senior citizen looking to sell etc ideas.

This was done to protect senior citizens on fixed incomes from being forced to sell their homes due to unaffordable property tax increases.So now, the city assessor tracks the SEV, but homeowners are taxed based upon the Taxable Value.

My error with the taxes, I believe it is that much now as a senior citizen discount.
