Second home loans are great, but they are best for high-income W2 employees looking for a vacation home, not really for investors looking to scale. 

For those who have employees what was that experience like?

As a veteran of these forums, I assumed you know that BP employees are free to post their own thoughts, as I’ve done here.

I built up a big management operation, didn't like the overhead & babysitting of adult employees, so I asked myself "How can I continue to build a big business without taking on more staff?" 

PI is a quiet town more geared toward tourism on South Padre Island, but will likely frow due to LPG.There are definitely some opportunities down here in the Rio Grande Valley for people who know how to operate, but one challenge you will encounter will be that it's very hard fine good employees.

By leasing out the detailing “bay” to a third party detailing business you are still a “passive” investor as you are not operating the detailing with employees.
