They built a pole barn structure, air conditioned it, strung up some lights and trendy decor and host baby showers or weddings almost every weekend. 

The tax assessment last year was based on the home's prior condition but fast forward to this year and the taxes have doubled.

This property was originally a fixer-upper that I finally brought to a point where it is in good condition, has good tenants and good, predictable cash-flow.

If you've already got 99% of what you need to know under current conditions, what good could some cameras add to that equation? 

The DSCR wouldn't include renovation funds unfortunately and property has to be in livable condition to qualify for the DSCR loan .

It was in fairly good condition, and I KNEW I could easily lease it out, or lease sections to various business, or sell it for double or triple what I paid. 3 years later, having not even received an offer to lease AT ANY PRICE, I sold it for $25,000 LESS than I had paid.

I’d love to read any updated terms and conditions they have that demonstrates a commission for private / direct sales.

It's essential to verify if your property falls within such a mixed-use district.Special Authorizations: In M1-2D districts, residential uses may be permitted by authorization from the City Planning Commission, subject to specific conditions and bulk regulations.

Obviously, the condition of these varies with price, but if you're willing to put the money into them to update them, this could be a great strategy.
