The overall society at large is better off having more/better housing and even the nation itself becomes wealthier because of investment property.   

The problem is the "Instagram society" we live in.

My perception is the Denver market is hot right now but worried about how long it will stay hot.

If they have served their time, their debt to society has been paid and you have no right to hold it against them - is the argument that is winning large settlements. 

That's 19 months and counting that housing providers are REQUIRED to work without compensation.And unemployment is at an all time high because it's more financially savvy for folks to stay home and collect the buffed up unemployment than it is to *gasp* re-enter the workforce and contribute back to society. 

The issue I'm running into is that I'm thinking of investing in my hometown area - where I no longer live but still have family - and I believe more emotional perceptions may be dictating whether I think I want to invest in one area over another.

Everything is perception. 

I never want to see anyone saying I act in a manner that is not defensible especially in a court of law should it ever come to that, as we operate in this litigious society of ours.

Economic fundamentals wise, they’re excellent.. society stupidity wise,... wait till June 1 and see how much the new qualifying rules tame the dragon.

What do your contribute to society that is so special that you deserve to make enough money to buy in the popular areas?
