I think a team helps you kick start your career allowing you to make money quicker.  

The med center expansion will help kick start more development.  

It's important to consult with a mentor or just really ask yourself: what are my long term goals, what's the criteria I need, what I am comfortable and not comfortable with doing/investing/risking, and are there other better ways to kickstart my investment journey?

Found a good value add property for our portfolio and a good kick starter property.

My grandmother would want the asset to stay in the family and so do my parents so, they are trying to kick start my real estate investor career.

I would receive a draw upon completion, so cash needed to kickstart the project is where I’m most concerned!

Sounds like Park Slope 12-15 years ago. or even PLG 4-6 years ago...In my experience, it just takes one really cool avant-garde/artsy Cafe/Lounge/Restaurant/Brunch spot to kickstart the fire...
