A two bedroom 1,300 sq ft cabin is going to go for way less than a 2 bed, 2,400 sq ft cabin.One of the issues out there too is that some are setup as legal 2 bedroom cabins because of the septic but then they have lofts and such that allow you to rent them out as 3 or even four bedroom cabins to improve the rent.You mentioned one nearby you with a similar layout.

I watched YouTube videos on this topic where they say not to mention that the LLC is owned by an IRA when you're trying to set the checking account up, or else you'll receive the push back that I received.  

On the other hand, these both are markets that are growing steadily so once you improve the property the equity is there.

The one you can scale.I know successful business owners in the fitness industry, tanning salons, real estate, window coverings, maintenance, billboard, ATMs, etc.Generally, I would be skeptical of jumping into a business based on YouTube videos hosted by and featuring people that are likely primarily trying to sell you their respective courses.Small businesses can indeed be great investments, but they are hard.  

We do some cosmetic improvements to bring homes to our standard, typically carpet and paint, upgrade lighting etc.

You can reevaluate selling in a few years when interest rates improve and more buyers get into the market
