Your household names: Ernst and Young, Deloitte, KPMG, etc all offer audit services, as do your regionals like Grant Thornton.A full audit will typically consist of spot checking everything from invoices/receipts tying out to specific checks paid by accounts payable, and down to leases being input into the system, and tying rent payments to cleared checks.  

Granted, this was 20 years ago, but I studied office at a tech school and took common classes with accounting program students.

Also, phoenix is great because the city is looking to kickstart free grant money for multi family properties in the next few months to renovate (up to 25k per unit), i was just on a zoom call discussing it with them before Christmas. 

What is Grant Street?

We are pursuing grants / subsidy including from Littleton City Council and others, along with financing to purchase the property by the residences via the Co-Op.

We all have to do our due diligence and no one should be taking for granted that what you were able to generate is what they will be able to generate, but it's not uncommon at all to ask to see the financials.

Grant it I have an extensive background in construction so my only hurdle will be learning the business side of being a builder.
