I would have to agree with some previous posters - I live in SoCal too and invest professionally for European retirement funds and we don't do a whole lot here as the yields are very low, and hard to tell where the market is going.Based on owning a lot of properties in C (on a good day) class areas across the country, I often find vacancy and especially repair costs climbing much higher than expected.
