I recently went to a bunch of the credit unions in Philadelphia (American Heritage, Sun Federal, PFCU, Trumark Financial, PSECU, and Franklin Mint) to see the terms of their HELOCs.

They seem to have some good properties in quite a few markets. Has anyone used them or know anything about them?

Mike,Two companies that may be more flexible are American Modern Home and Foremost. 

I work with American Bank of Missouri.

With the job, I would recommend looking for something with a large property management company such as FirstKey, Invitation Homes, American Homes for Rent, etc. since there is no better way to learn the industry from the inside out. 

First off, I believe this person was an American citizen, not a Mexican.

I read online that an American can buy property there.

However it hasn’t felt as, “I’m going to live the American Dream” as I thought it would be.
