Even though I am a long ways a away from starting such a venture, I was wondering if a RE brokerage is, or, can be a good/profitable business to start given the fact that it may have other services to provide which increases cash flow and hopefully profitability.

I just want to be pointed in the right direction and get the pros/cons of my business venture. 

By everything I mean, a dialer, automatic text features, drip email features, automated direct mail, work flows, list/list provider with names and numbers etc.   

I'm looking for any and all books/forums/podcasts that relate to purchasing notes, but this being my first RE venture, I want to try and avoid paralysis by analysis. 

I was advised not to use a joint venture agreement, since I wanted to keep my LLC and another parties accounts separated and not wanting to open up a new account.

I currently have 6K to my name and would like to get into a venture this summer while I’m out of school
