If so, curious about thoughts and if it is a good equitable transaction.

At this point, I see only 3 options1) assign the contract to someone else, meaning sell the apartment (but I will need approval from the developer)2) talk to the developer and ask for a minimum one-week rental (Min City Regulation) at least for the 1st year to get over the bad time.3) to just go ahead and purchase the apartment and suck up any loss I might make and try to get in refinanced as soon as possible with a lower interest rate.What are your thoughts?

When I was on my 5th or 6th transaction, I found a deal off market and was prepared to close but had an agent/ investor friend look over everything for me.

I had a bad contractor I burned cash on, a break-in and theft, and then had to put more money into the rehab than I thought.

When we moved in I took pictures of areas of the house that I thought were poorly maintained or not in the expected state, the pictures are in my phone and have a date and timestamp for authenticity of when they were taken.

Thoughts?
