What do you believe had led to your success?

I was led to this site by the book Set for Life by Scott Trench, which I am currently reading.

While doing so, I realized just how little I knew; which led me to Biggerpockets.

Going once... twice..... sold"At the tax lien sale, they don't do this and the tax collector usually just says "sold" after about a 2 second pause of silence.This led to a mini bruhaha, as one bidder stated her name JUST 1 second AFTER her bid, to essentially tell the tax collector she was the last bid.....As the tax collector said sold and her name (not giving other bidders time to hear, or respond in a split second), 2-3 other people outbid her, but the first bidder said....

Also, we are getting into selling LED lights to commercial and multi-family units.

All I know I'm hungry and i want to do this thank you for your time @Edwin Solivan if you’re still out there, it would be interesting to hear where you are today after that first REIA meeting, including where that meeting led you and how it influenced your real estate investing endeavors, for better or worse   

After coming across an article, it led me here and I'm anxious to join the community and start developing experience in real estate.

This interest led me to youtube where I stumbled upon John Sonmez's videos on real estate investment.

Mixing it all together is what led me to REI.

But the numbers I've seen are certainly icing on the cake :)What led you to investing in RE?
