It's pretty difficult to hide an animal that makes an atrocious mess, barks incessently, etc.

Bad tenants fail to contact or worse still, lie or hide. 

So, what else are they hiding?

If you have to pull teeth to get them to comply with filling out an application, especially after telling them they need to, they will just be a regular pain in the rear - even if they aren't hiding anything.  

This tends to cut down on shoddy work and hiding stuff behind walls.No legal advice given.
