The reason I am so sensitive to water/sewer is because my water bill averages about $1,800 per month. ( I have a corporate client which leases 20 of my 39 apartments and they have dozens of people cycling in and out of several of those apartments, showering, cooking around the clock.

We have finally accepted that the only way we're going to get reasonably good food in our area for a reasonable price is to cook it ourselves, after years of trying new restaurants and being disappointed.

It can be good kharma because you are helping out with the affordable housing situation.You can screen them just like you do all tenants.....I have Section 8 tenants at properties in Oakland, CA, Concord, CA and Cleveland, OH and myself and the property manager were able to screen them and gets tenants in that have no dangerous breed animals, no felonies, no evictions, no smokers and we literally had to turn away qualified Section 8 applicants because we or I didn't have any more rentals available because it's like a Sellers Market when you market to Section 8 tenants.   

That's over $300,000 for the 4 month maintenance project at the refinery.They could make some extra money doing laundry or cooking meals, but that is chump change. 

Cook County, IL is similar but doesn't sound as blatant.

The reality is that vulnerable includes people with asthma, diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, smokers and people fighting any number of diseases.

So yes servers and cooks have been laid off in record numbers, and how many industries are in a renaissance from this same thing? 

Good if you don't want to cook, are willing to pay a little more, and appreciate the end product that the restaurant puts out.
