The newly created trillions are (a) papering over previous speculative losses and (b) going onto the balance sheets of companies/individuals that simply add another digit to their net worth.

With the recent shifts in policies towards remote work among many of Seattle's biggest tech employers, it seems that there might be a bigger opportunity going forward to offer furnished rentals that really cater to "digital nomads" looking to work in beautiful/interesting locations (with high-speed, dependable internet, a good work station, and probably other amenities). 

With the large increase in building materials and labor cost carriers are having to increase rates many times by double digit percentages.

We upgraded the individual unit service from 60A to 125A, added exterior lighting, and security cameras.

If your property is appreciating at anywhere close to the Austin numbers in the double digit range, I would rent it out.

I don't dig it and it doesn't play out that way.
