When I choose to connect with someone I will also send them a message with the request just introducing myself or thanking that person for a vote or thanking that person for the content he or she has shared in the forums.

@Jason Harrison, While I COMPLETELY sympathize and get your position, a couple of things to keep in mind, in particular if you have signed a buyers agreement with her, then there is probably a clause in there about being able to get the commission from any properties that she showed you or introduced you to for 90 days after you terminate the relationship.

Something like: "A friend introduced me to a Realtor they have worked with and they specialize in investment properties.
