Finding something during the credit and background check that had not already been revealed to us is rare, but when it does happen, it is usually because the applicant was intentionally trying to hide something from us... thinking we might not actually run credit and background checks or check references.

There is this stigma of poor housekeeping associated with bedbug infestations, but due to these varied means of infiltration that  stigma has now been disproven (although poor housekeeping will allow for the infestation to have more hiding places).There is really no way to be 100% certain of the source.

You might want to read my $3 e-book for some tips if you'd consider doing the legwork yourself.Avoiding landlords when the tenant isn't performing is a normal occurrence in low income landlording; it's like a misbehaving kid trying to hide.

And of course you want the applicant to be honest about the eviction, not hide it, and you want the applicant's story to be corroborated by the evicting landlord.
