Either way it’s a small niche.I’d also caution you on you’re maintenance costs. 5 bedroom probably means more bathrooms, a physically larger house with more plumbing, roof tiles, larger hot water heater etc.

However, if they wanted to justify it, I'm sure the justification is that renters cause more problems than owners; renters tend to live then shorter periods of time and there are expenses when someone moves in/out such as extra trash pick-ups, programming them into an entry system, cleaning costs as the move in/out can be messy around the building, light damage to the building, scheduling of the freight elevator, cost of providing additional notices as now the tenant and owner need to receive copies, etc.

the property managers have often never actually been in the property itself, manage a huger portfolio of properties (so yours is just a drop in the water) and the person who actually has contact with your guests and is the driving force between a happy guest and a potential vacancy is an hourly employee.

There's no way our sump pumps will be able to handle the regular water we already get PLUS the additional water from the high-rise as well.- He has a finished basement and he does not want to handle the hassle.
