( that is single engine)  Google the  Cirrus parachute pull off of Maui on U Tube or how ever you guys get on those sites its totally cool to watch.. ferry pilot had his gas tank fail and he ran out of gas 150 miles from Maui.. not to worry pull the chute land softly  cruise ship near by sends tender and your eating lobster for dinner.. do that in a plane without a chute and your lobster food.
