But this is surpassingly irrelevant as I have no duty to anyone but myself to enforce the terms of my lease and I am free to amend those terms to make them more permissive at any moment.Under these facts I don't think the case is susceptible of a neat solution.

Now, I know that renting that unit would be out of the question because it is legally defined as your principal address and is clearly stated that it is owner-occ; however, would it be legally permissible to airbnb this unit?

There is no rule saying you can charge an amount for a specific thing, we dont ask government for permission to do things, they just lay out guidelines for what we cant do, I would trust Mr Nagel know what hes talking about, he has enough experience with these matters to have quite a bit of clout.

I didn't rent to people who didn't respect me or value my time.And, I agree with roommates/couples you put them on the lease and then only do month to month agreements, because odds are, they will break up and you'll be dealing with this scenario.The only times I didn't include all adults on a rental agreement, I then gave written permission to the tenant to have a long-term guest, which could be revoked at any time.But, really trust your hinky hairs.
