Cash is king.

While I agree that cashflow is king, at the end of the day it is a job, but a great paying one.

@Essien Benjamin I lived in King country for 14 years and would not suggest house hacking because you are in a primary market.I would buy for cashflow in Birmingham, Atlanta, Indianapolis, Kansas City, Memphis, Little Rock, Jacksonville, Ohio, or other secondary or tertiary markets.

Cash flow kings you can pick up for very cheap, rent for $650, and just plan on tenant issues, turnover, maintenance, crime but you can acquire the house for $35,000 ready to rent.  

I own, I like being king of my castle, and not having to have to deal with a landlord.  

The King also owns 52% of all the land but I am not sure if that applies to condos.  

Would it be in King's Landing?

Given the fact that cash is king I would take the 50k upfront, but that is if your market has homes that this additional money will allow you to buy.
