Way too much stress to do it yourself and there are a lot of hidden costs.

What experience do people have with this, is there a way out and "off" their list.

What makes it tough in the beginning is your rental income is not established so you need to be able to handle the debt not using rental income. 

You will probably be better off focusing on paying that off as quickly as possible rather than putting money in a HYSA and definitely more so than putting it in a Roth.

Are the older homes in this area safe to buy or do they break down a lot?

So it would depend on following:- What are your top 10/core needs of your business workflow.- Do you want to manage the new system internally or have an outside vendor manage it for you for a small fee.- Would you be requiring custom changes often to your digital workflow?

It is tough to crack, but it has so much potential. 

In the future you will have smaller deductions each year than you would have had if you didn’t do this.
