and I second Steves comments on Morby sub too is nothing new my dad did the 60s and I sure people did them before that along with wraps and well everything we sold was owner finance when the rates skyrocketed in the Carter years its de ja vu all over again.. so thats the new hot ticket.. but it makes sense there are things you need to do though NOT really for yourself the risk is totally on the seller in these transactions and we know how protecting the seller gets glossed over so many times.

Chicago is huge...I think the best thing you can do is to link up with an investor-savvy lender like @Andy Smith or @Zack Karp get pre-approved and then find an investor-friendly agent like @Eudith Vacio or @Paul De Luca....make sure the agent you work with is familiar with neighborhoods you are looking in.
