I would not yet go to Scott, but rather go to city hall building office (they're on the opposite side of zoning) and just say that you're about to buy this property and whether they see any problems in you obtaining a building permit as such.

I have not heard much or been able to find much of anything on obtaining business credit for rental property LLC business. 

He does give a lot of actionable advice, but his sales content does need to be changed a bit based on the industry you're in and the buyer type.Re: his syndications and Reg A fund, I would only be concerned with how the assets will do in the long run, since he seems to be focused on owning the nicest property in the neighborhood.

Transferring property or any other assets from disqualified person to an IRA is prohibited! 

Unfortunately there was never any chance of me obtaining the information I needed that would have changed my mind until it was too late.

I have a good amount of money set aside in assets that was given to me by my grand parents, roughly $250k.

Please help me formulate a specific plan that will get me there.For example, I could obtain $100,000 by owning 20 units that each provide $5k in cash flow each year ($417 per month).
